This Privacy Policy explains how Color Walk collects, stores, and uses information when you browse our website, use the Color Walk mobile application ("App"), or contact our team (together, the "Services").

"Color Walk," "we," and "us" refer to Amenti Labs LLC, the company responsible for the Services. "You" or "user" refers to anyone who installs the App, views our website at colorwalk.app, interacts with our social channels, or communicates with us.

INFORMATION WE PROCESS

1. Color Walk App Data

Color Walk is built with a local-first design. Your color selections, photos, notes, mood tags, and walk history stay on your device unless you explicitly choose to share or back them up. We do not have direct access to your creative content.

When you launch the App, we receive limited technical diagnostics to make sure Color Walk runs smoothly. This can include device type, operating system version, and anonymous event data such as whether a feature crashed. We use this information to improve stability and support.

2. Photos, Share Cards, and AI Artwork

Photos you capture during a color walk are stored locally. When you generate a share card, the composed image is also saved on your device. If you upgrade to Color Walk Pro and request AI artwork, optimized copies of your photos are uploaded to a secure processing service (powered by Google Cloud functions) solely to create the collage. We delete those copies after the artwork is delivered.

3. Location and Tags

Adding a city or country tag is optional. If you enable coarse location, we only store the label you choose, not your precise route. You can remove location details from any walk at any time.

4. Subscription and Purchase Data

Paid subscriptions are managed by Apple (App Store) using Superwall as the paywall provider. We do not collect your payment card details, Apple ID, or billing address. The App receives a confirmation that you purchased or cancelled a subscription so we can unlock or adjust Pro features. For refunds, please work directly with Apple.

5. Communications

If you email us, join our community spaces, or fill out a form, we process the contact details and message you provide so we can respond. We may use the feedback to improve Color Walk. You can stop receiving updates from us at any time by replying or using the unsubscribe link, when available.

6. Website Analytics

We use lightweight analytics on colorwalk.app to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. This data may include IP address, browser type, and time on page. We do not use marketing cookies or sell this information to advertisers.

LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING

We process data to deliver the Services, troubleshoot issues, and respond to your requests (contractual necessity). Some processing, like analytics and crash diagnostics, helps us improve Color Walk and is based on our legitimate interest. When we rely on your consent, such as enabling location tags or sending marketing updates, you can withdraw consent at any time in the App or by contacting us.

RETENTION

We keep your personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. You control the content stored in the App. Diagnostic logs and analytics data are retained for a limited period before being anonymized or deleted.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

To operate Color Walk we rely on trusted partners such as Apple (App Store), Google Cloud (hosting, AI processing, crash monitoring), Superwall (subscription management), and analytics providers that help us understand overall product performance. These partners are limited to using data on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations.

CHILDREN

Color Walk is intended for people aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, object to certain processing, or request data portability. Most creative content can be managed directly inside the App. For other requests, email us at contact@amentilabs.com and we will help.

If we rely on your consent to process specific data, you may withdraw it at any time. This will not affect the legality of processing performed before the withdrawal.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features, partners, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
